Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

The short version

We don’t run ads, and you can’t create an account here. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which guides get read. It stays off until you say yes, and the “Cookie settings” link in the footer lets you change your choice at any time. Fonts, styles and scripts for the site itself all come from our own server.

What we process, and why

Server logs

When you open a page, our hosting provider records technical details of the request: your IP address, the time, the page you asked for, and your browser and device type. We need this to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working, safe website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

Comments

If you leave a comment we store the name and email address you enter, the comment itself, your IP address and your browser’s user agent string. Your name and comment are public. Your email address is never shown. The IP address and user agent are used to catch spam. Comments are checked before they appear. Legal basis: your consent when you submit the comment, and our legitimate interest in keeping spam out.

We keep a comment until you ask us to remove it. Email us from the address you used and we’ll delete it.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with your request, and afterwards only where we need a record. Our mailbox is provided by Google.

Cookies and storage on your device

Cookies. Reading the site sets no cookies. If you tick “Save my name, email, and website in this browser” when you comment, WordPress stores those details in cookies for about a year so you don’t have to type them again. That is optional.

Local storage. Three features remember things in your own browser: checklist progress in guides (which collectibles or steps you ticked off), the games you opened recently for “Pick up where you left off”, and the section you last reached in a long guide, so we can offer to take you back there. This stays on your device. It is never sent to us, and you can wipe it with the Clear and Reset buttons or by clearing your browser data.

Analytics. If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz. It records which pages you view, your device and browser type, and how you found the site, and it uses a cookie or similar identifier to recognise a returning visitor. Your IP address is not passed on to Google. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you reject or ignore the banner, nothing is sent. Your choice is kept in a first-party cookie called “zaraz-consent” for one year. Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to change it, or clear your cookies.

Who else handles your data

  • Hostinger (hosting and content delivery network). Processes server logs and stores the site’s database, including comments.
  • Google (email). Processes messages you send us. Google may process data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Google (analytics, only if you accept). Receives the usage data described above. Google may process data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Cloudflare (DNS, security and tag management). Our traffic passes through Cloudflare, which also shows the cookie banner and forwards analytics data once you agree.

We don’t sell your data and we don’t share it with advertisers.

Links to other sites

Guides link to stores, wikis and official game sites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent you gave. Email [email protected] and say “privacy request” in the subject line. We answer within one month.

If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, www.uoou.gov.cz) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

The site is not aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has posted personal details in a comment, tell us and we’ll remove it.

Changes

When we change how the site handles data, we update this page and the date at the top.
