Quick answer

Every Prestige in Modern Warfare 4 pays out a loading screen at level 10, an emblem at 20, a weapon charm at 30, a large decal at 40 and the big reward at 50, which is a Blueprint or an operator skin. Classic players get the Prime version of that last one. After Prestige 10, Prestige Master runs from level 56 to 1,000 and is mostly level colours and legacy icons, with Ju Kwon, a camo and a few extras waiting at the very end.

Updated 24 October. Reward names are the ones in the game at launch.

Every Prestige is the same deal. You grind 50 levels, pick up a few cosmetics on the way, and get a gun or a skin at the end. There are ten of those, then Prestige Master, which carries on to level 1,000 and is mostly level colours, so a bit of enthusiasm is required.

Below is everything, in the order you’ll get it. Which version of each level 50 reward you receive depends on whether you took Classic or Regular, and I went through that choice in the Classic or Regular Prestige guide.

How Prestige rewards work

Enter Prestige 1 and the Sandstorm operator skin is yours straight away. After that, each Prestige hands out the same run of things as you climb it: a loading screen at level 10, an emblem at 20, a weapon charm at 30, a large decal at 40, and the headline reward at 50. The emblem is just called Prestige 1, Prestige 2 and so on, so it doesn’t get its own column below.

The headline reward comes in two flavours. Regular gets the standard one and Classic gets the Prime one. Prestige Master is a different animal, because you climb from level 56 up to 1,000 and the rewards are spread much further apart.

Six of the ten are Blueprints (Prestiges 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10) and four are operator skins. The Army SF Airborne operator shows up at Prestige 5 and Prestige 7, and the Sandstorm skin you start with is the same operator again, so that’s three skins of one bloke.

The loading screens run through the series in order, from the first game in 2003 up to Modern Warfare 4 at Prestige 10, which is a nice touch. The charms and decals are the throwaway end of the scale, but Beary Sorry, Potato Warfare and Captain Meme are all real names, and I’d like to meet whoever pitched them.

Prestige Master rewards

Once you’ve finished Prestige 10 and hit level 56, you’re in Prestige Master. The first stretch has proper rewards at every step, and these are the ones to know.

After that it’s level colours every 25 levels and a set of legacy Prestige icons every 100. Each set is named after the Prestige it matches, and equipping one replaces your current Prestige Master icon.

Prestige Master level 1,000 rewards

Level 1,000 is where it all pays out. You get the Ju Kwon operator, the Prestige Master camo, the Waveform level colour, the Prestige 10 legacy icons, and a Prestige Master 1000 weapon charm, calling card, emblem and loading screen. It also makes you a Prestige Legend, and the rewards for that are still classified.

Which rewards are worth the grind

The Blueprints are the ones I’d go for, since a gun is a gun. The skins are fine, but it’s hard to get excited about an operator you only see in the lobby and the kill cam. If you want the full Prime set, you need Classic every time, and that’s worth knowing before you click Regular on a whim.

Prestige Master is a long haul, and the first 90 levels are the interesting ones. That’s Paragon, a loading screen, an emblem, a charm, a sticker and the Han 86 Blueprint, which is also the first thing you can unlock after finishing all ten Prestiges. Past level 100 you’re collecting colours and icons until you reach the camo at the end, and that’s a very long way to go for a camo.
